Hello, my name is Norbert Sokolowski, and I'm polish photographer based in brussels. I've been photographing beautiful women for over 15 years.

I don't create photos to please anyone, but rather images with passion and driven by the emotions of the moment. Over the years, my style has changed because, like every photographer, I was initially influenced and inspired.

Today, after all these years, I create photos that, above all, I have to like, and if by chance others like them too, then I'm happy. So if you like one of my photos and would like it hanging on one of your walls, I'd be honored.

Gear

Almost from the very beginning, it was analog photography. I fell in love with black and white shots with shallow focus, which has changed a bit over the years, as also my equipment has changed.

That's why most, if not all, of my photos over the last 10-12 years have been taken with medium-format cameras as Hasselblad 203fe and the Pentax 67II. Then I go for bigger and bigger formats and I have started using large format cameras like Graflex 4x5" or VDC 8x10" which was the ultimate large format for me. And again time has passed and I return to smaller formats because of usability and their compact sizes, and now I shoot most of my pictures with Contax G2 and .... cheapest P&S Olympus camera.

I've mostly used Ilford HP5+ and FP4 negatives. In earlier years, I often used Kodak Trix 400.

Now is more color photos for which I always use Kodak films mainly Portra 400 & 800 and occasionaly other brands like Ilford Vintage 400 or CineStill.
